Nicolas Krafft; Roles at L’Oreal

Nicolas Krafft has been working for L’Oreal for a long time. He started working at L’Oreal in December 2002 as the Marketing Director Kerastase, a post he held until August 2004. Nicolas Krafft later moved to serve as the Marketing Director of L’Oreal Asia where he served from August 2004 to December 2008. Between January 2009 and October 2011, Mr. Krafft worked as the General Manager at L’Oreal. He also became the Deputy General Manager in L’Oreal Eastern Europe where he worked from June 2011 to December 2013.

Nicolas Krafft became the Vice President of Global Business Development from January 2014 to December 2018. It was during this time that Nicolas Krafft and his staff held the second annual fashion and beauty show of L’Oreal Paris on 30th September 2018. The event had a floating catwalk on the Seine River in the center of the French capital. The unique event was set to show off the new looks of the season and also to provide an opportunity for L’Oreal brand to highlight its ongoing commitment to ensure that they make beauty and fashion even more available. The event was graced by some of the high-profile names in the silver screen, style, and beauty.

During the event, Nicolas Krafft brought out iconic women who took center stage on the floating runway in central Paris. The star-studded model lineup included big names such as Elle Fanning, Eva Longoria, and Louise Bourgoin who walked for L’Oreal Paris across the floating catwalk over the river Seine. The show was all about shining a spotlight on diversity and creativity both of which are inseparably related to the French capital, which was the source of inspiration of L’Oreal Paris. The show also included celebrities outside the fashion world who turned out to support L’Oreal Paris mission such as Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones) and Marie Bochet (Paralympic ski champion and the new brand ambassador of L’Oreal Paris in her runway entrance).

Nicolas Krafft studied Business management at the University of St. Gallen from 1990 to 1995. He also studied Corporate General Management Programme at INSEAD in 2006.
